Ferguson activist, Darren Seals, 29, was found shot to death in a burning car Tuesday, September 6th.
A call was made to the arson unit Tuesday morning about a vehicle fire. When the fire was extinguished, the body of Seals was found inside with gunshot wounds.
Seals was a prominent leader in the protests surrounding the 2014 death of unarmed teen, Michael Brown. In a recent online post, Seals stated that Ferguson police had drawn their guns on him and his 14 year old brother, telling them “Choose your enemies wisely”.
Police are treating the death of Seals as a homicide.
